HOW ARE WE GOING TO LEARN?

Experiential learning

From IntuyLab, we believe, that the most effective learning progress is made when we start from past experiences. Therefore this MOOC offers a practice-based learning strategy. We will analyze real cases, gain new skills through practical exercises and apply our new knowledge to a project. The city is going to be our laboratory, the urban space our classroom, and the citizens our classmates. Learning together and building together is the base for the participatory construction of our cities.

The lived and shared experiences will allow us to develop integrated design and implementation strategies that respond to the local social, ecological, and economic context, to generate a sustainable project in public space.

Mastery Learning Approach

In a complementary way, the methodology of this course includes the Mastery Learning Approach guidelines, a key component of Coursera’s learning philosophy.

The Mastery Learning Approach ensures effective learning independently of time. Through reviews and quizzes, you will receive feedback that will help you understand your own learning progress within the course. The learning process of this methodology is progressive and requires a final review after each module. This way you can take as much time as you need to perfect your learning process so that no one is left behind.
